Minneapolis/St. Paul – April 16, 2019 – Team USA Minnesota’s Kevin Lewis and Joel Reichow will compete in the men’s 5000 meter event at the Mt. SAC Relays Distance Carnival and Invitational on Friday, April 19.
Lewis has a personal best in the distance of 13:43.70 and Reichow has run 13:53.05. Both athletes will be looking to improve on these times. This will be a track season opener for Lewis, while Reichow started his outdoor season at the Mike Fanelli Classic on March 28, posting 28:43.35 in the 10,000 meters.
The Mt. SAC Relays 5000m race is scheduled for 8:20 p.m. (Pacific time).
Cherry Blossom Ten Mile Results
Katy Jermann was 12th in the Credit Union Cherry Blossom Ten Mile in Washington, D.C. on April 7 with a personal best time of 54:03. Also in the women’s field was Meghan Peyton who ran 56:23.
In the men’s 10 mile field, Tyler Jermann posted a best of 48:21 while Danny Docherty ran 48:25, also a personal best for the distance.
