2022 - NCAA DI Midwest Region XC - 10th

2022 - NCAA DII Indoor Champion 3000m and 5000m

Titus is from Mansfield, Tennessee and attended Henry County High School. He qualified for state 4 times in cross country in the large school division, with 3 top ten finishes, including a state championship his senior year. As a senior, he qualified for Foot Locker Nationals, placing 6th in the South Regional. He also found success on the track in the 3200m, where he was 6th as a sophomore, 2nd as a junior, and state champion as a senior. A 7-time All State honoree, his high school personal bests included 4:20 in the 1600m and 8:52 in the 3200m.

 

After graduating in 2018, Titus attended Southern Indiana University, competing at the NCAA DII level. He majored in Sport Management. At Southern Indiana, he was the 2022 NCAA II National Champion Indoors in the 3000m in 7:57 and 5000m in 13:38. Between track and cross country, he was a 7-time All-American, 11-time All-Region honoree, and 7-time All-Conference honoree. He captured two Midwest Regional Cross Country Championships and five conference championships.

 

Titus went on to compete for Iowa State University for the 2022-23 campaign. At the NCAA DI level, he was an All-Regional runner in cross country, placing 10th and earning a spot at the Nationals, where he finished 107th. Indoors, he ran personal bests of 4:00 and 7:54. He placed 5th in the Big 12 Championships on the outdoor track in the 10,000m, and 8th in the 5000m.

 

Titus comes from a running family, as both his parents, his brothers Silas and Javan, and sister Dinah are all competitive runners. He joined Minnesota Distance Elite in September of 2023.
